Enoch Gbenato Achigan-Dako is an Associate Professor at the University of Abomey-Calavi’s Faculty of Agronomic Sciences. He holds degrees from Universities in Benin, Ivory Coast, and Germany. With over 80 research papers, he’s made substantial contributions to high-ranking international journals and local publications.
Enoch is actively involved in numerous projects, including those funded by the European Union and the Mastercard Foundation, aimed at enhancing training, research, and crop improvement in Africa. He is recognized for his work in developing improved crop varieties, such as Akaya (Gynandropis gynandra), and is part of a consortium for a sweet potato project funded by the African Union.
He is a respected geneticist and plant breeder who has significantly impacted research and crop development in Africa.
